NEW jobs are set to be created in Shipston-on-Stour after a builder's merchant announced plans to build a new outlet in the town.

Building and Plumbing Supplies (BPS) will open a branch with a trade counter at the site in Tilemans Lane, later this year.

It will be the fourth location the Leamingtonbased company has opened in the Midlands. and the new 10,000 sq ft unit is expected to create up to 10 jobs.

John Dibble, managing director of BPS, said: "This new location was a natural fit for our business and will take the company forward by opening up a whole new market.

"There will obviously be a number of new jobs created and we look forward to opening for business later in the year."
