shows rain over the west/southwest part of the GOWM region at the moment. This will only make limited progress eastwards through the day and there will be a tendency to turn to sleet/snow. This is starting to occur over parts of Herefordshire at the moment, and its Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and parts of Shropshire that are most likely to see snow today although any accumulations are unlikely to be any more than a few cm.
The rain/sleet/snow is expected to gradually die out during the late afternoon.
